DJ D-Wett is very well rounded when it comes to turntablism. Starting at
the age of 17 when CD and vinyl collecting became a hobby, the art of
being a DJ just fell into place. The art and craft of scratching and
mixing became a everyday thing, and he was not settling for anything
less than perfection. He grew up listening to all genres of music, which
makes him very knowledgeable with all music types. As a hip hop and
r&b mix master, he has no genre barriers when it comes to
entertaining his crowd. Listening and watching DJs, like DJ Jazzy Jeff,
Q-Bert, Kid Capri, and hometown legend DJ Topspeed inspired him to
become the DJ he is today. Currently, he is working with local artists
and producers in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as doing
parties all over the city from catering businesses, weddings, birthday
parties, and hosting mixtapes. Showing off his very eye catching and
entertaining skills on his turntables makes him a dominant figure in the
DJ business.
